Waiting for help

“Make sure you're checking on your loved ones! Got there to visit and before I left I hit the call light which did not work at all! How is anyone supposed to call for help if the call button doesn't work?”

“It is hard to get any answers or response over the phone. If you do happen to get a person they send you to voice mail. M-i-L acting very delusional last visit 3 days ago, have called every day, multiple times to check on her and unable to get any info. Very frustrating.”

“The assisted living side is great with great staff. Food is awful though and staff needs to be paid more. Also need a dedicated vehicle for them. My mom has been in the rehab 3 time but she will never go back! They are awful! Food always cold and late. Nursing staff non-existent when you need them.”

For communities and operators

Families don’t just tour buildings. They tour for reassurance.

“What happens if my mom falls at 2 a.m.?” Communities that answer that clearly win the move-in — and write a different kind of review. See how Nobi communities say it out loud, on the tour and in the brochure.

What families ask on tour
01“How quickly will you know if she falls?”
02“Will someone check on her at night?”
03“How do you protect her privacy and her dignity?”
04“What happens before a fall, not just after?”
