Waiting for help

“Hospitalized a family member without contacting any family. I'm currently on hold waiting for someone to explain what happened. It has been 30+ minutes. Nobody can tell me anything and "no one was there" when it happened. I would not recommend this facility.”

“Very poor care. I told staff today that my friend in memory "care" (she fell two days ago) needed pain meds, and they just disappeared. So many stories, but this is the most recent. Poor staffing, so much turnover. It's gotten worse since a new Corp. bought them. Don't bring your loved ones here.”

★☆☆☆☆ · 2026-05-26 · Anthem Lakes · source

“This is a clean place, and the food is good. However, turnover, contagion, and medication are concerns. My mother, a nonagenarian, is getting over COVID, but she has gotten no follow-up tests, nor has she received the cough medicine she needs. One night, during her quarantine, she called to say she hadn’t eaten since breakfast. For $8000/month, I expect MUCH better care!”

“I would 1000% not recommend this place. My grandpa WALKED in this place on Monday and was dead by Sunday. We went to visit him on Saturday and he was highly over medicated and had a mouthful of food they had put in his mouth and didn’t care that he was unable to chew or swallow it. We had to ask them to scoop the food out of his mouth he died several hours later”

For communities and operators

Families don’t just tour buildings. They tour for reassurance.

“What happens if my mom falls at 2 a.m.?” Communities that answer that clearly win the move-in — and write a different kind of review. See how Nobi communities say it out loud, on the tour and in the brochure.

What families ask on tour
01“How quickly will you know if she falls?”
02“Will someone check on her at night?”
03“How do you protect her privacy and her dignity?”
04“What happens before a fall, not just after?”
