Waiting for help

“This place is terrible not enough room on here to tell my story , needed ice for swelling yet there is no ice available for more than one day”

“Didn’t get the care he needed! Meals were very late! I even had to call up there to get him help because no one answered his call light! Was told he had no stitches or staples and found out once he got home he did! I’m not saying all the nurses were bad because they weren’t! He was in there for rehab and that didn’t go so well ! But you’ve got the point on how the care was or I should say wasn’t!!!”

★☆☆☆☆ · 2026-02-12 · Champions Healthcare at Willowbrook · source

“Weekday staff are usually wonderful. But as soon as management leaves the building patient care is questionable. If you try to call they hang up on you and tell you they are having phone issues. The administrator only responds to complaints about 25% of the time.”

★★☆☆☆ · 2026-03-01 · Southland Care Center · source

“Horrible service with nurses, med aides, and aid all were rude, and very slow answering call button sometimes an hour before they answer. So I told my daughter to come get me. The therapists were very knowledgeable and courteous but only 2 sessions Monday through Friday. Long days stay with out help. Obviously nurses don’t want to be there.”

For communities and operators

Families don’t just tour buildings. They tour for reassurance.

“What happens if my mom falls at 2 a.m.?” Communities that answer that clearly win the move-in — and write a different kind of review. See how Nobi communities say it out loud, on the tour and in the brochure.

What families ask on tour
01“How quickly will you know if she falls?”
02“Will someone check on her at night?”
03“How do you protect her privacy and her dignity?”
04“What happens before a fall, not just after?”
