Waiting for help

“If you are considering Avalon Health Campus for a loved one, I strongly encourage you to visit at different times of the day, ask detailed questions about staffing levels, response times, caregiver-to-resident assignments, turnover, and how concerns are escalated. Choosing long-term care is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and based on our experience, I would look elsewhere.”

“This is a review of PT. I ASKED FOR MALE THERAPIST as my wife doesn't respond to female as well as males for what ever reason. She has only seen male maybe 4 times out of 37 days and she shows little progress in my eyes. They do what ever they wish, as a outsider I don't believe they look at the interest of the patient and wishes of the family.”

★★☆☆☆ · 2026-02-20 · Avalon Springs Health Campus · source

“Unprofessional staff. Lack of knowledge of patient current condition. Lack of response to patient needs. Lack of knowledge for blood testing and catheter needs!”

★★☆☆☆ · 2026-07-18 · Clearvista Lake Health Campus · source

“Staff wouldn’t give my grandfather his home cardiac medication. He couldn’t work with PT because his heart rate was too high because his medications weren’t given. No investigation done of why his heart rate was consistently too high. They wanted to discharge him because of this with no safe discharge plan. 10/10 would not recommend.”

For communities and operators

Families don’t just tour buildings. They tour for reassurance.

“What happens if my mom falls at 2 a.m.?” Communities that answer that clearly win the move-in — and write a different kind of review. See how Nobi communities say it out loud, on the tour and in the brochure.

What families ask on tour
01“How quickly will you know if she falls?”
02“Will someone check on her at night?”
03“How do you protect her privacy and her dignity?”
04“What happens before a fall, not just after?”
